President's Letter

Our Vision and Momentum are Strong

As we step into March, the season reminds us that change is in the air. The days are getting longer, spring is on the horizon, and just like the unpredictable March weather, our industry keeps us on our toes. Whether March comes in like a lion or a lamb, one thing is certain—our momentum is strong, and we have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks!

 Celebrating February’s Successes
 February was a standout month for our organization! We hosted our highest-attended luncheon to date with 134 attendees!  This luncheon, hosted by Assistant Secretary Jason Hunt, brought together professionals from across the industry for valuable networking and discussions. Community Impact under Chair Sherrill Wilson hosted a volunteer event Feb 15th at Minnie’s Food Pantry and it was a success!  Thank you to everyone who participated—you made an impact!   Membership is up to 350 members!  The largest chapter in the states is barely ahead at 384. We’re working to close the gap! Membership under Chair Veronica Brooks also worked on a March membership spotlight for Inclusion and Belonging. 

Additionally, I’d like to shout out to our Communications Chair Jason Znoy! Huge thank you for the incredible makeover of our webpage! We appreciate the effort to make the site both beautiful and functional!

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce the spring Risk Manager forum happening in early April. More details to come, but this is an event you won’t want to miss!
