President's Letter

In the face of adversity, the Lone Star always blooms!

Thank you all for your generosity, volunteerism, and exceptional dedication to our Chapter.  You are the best part of DFW RIMS.  I would like to thank the board for their hard work in achieving our goals for 2025.  Our board is a volunteer organization.  We all have full -time jobs and often juggle multiple obligations while working to achieve our goals.  Your work is appreciated. We are collectively (as a board and chapter making) a positive impact on the industry in Dallas-Fort Worth.  I hope we can continue to raise the bar and make an impact!

We kicked off the season with the first-ever Risk Manager Exclusive Forum sponsored by MMA.  We had a great Risk Manager turn out!  Your engagement and insights made this event a huge success, and we look forward to growing this platform together.  Our next exclusive (Risk Managers only) event is in September!  We look forward to more engaging and thought provoking conversation!

Congratulations to Our Distinguished Vendor Partner of the Year for 2024 - Jason Turk. Your dedication and support have been invaluable!!  Thank you for being an essential part of the DFW-RIMS community!! Our chapter grew and flourished under your leadership in membership!!  Thank you for your service!

The feedback on the March luncheon has been outstanding, especially on the topic - most found it timely, engaging, and thought-provoking!  Nice work to our presenter, Natalie Kaschalk from Copart!  We’re thrilled it resonated with so many risk professionals!

Ticket Sales are now open for the RIMS Texas Regional Conference, presented by RIMS and your local chapters. I hope to see you all there - secure your spot soon!
