Love for Our Purpose | DFW RIMS February 2025 Print

President's Letter

Love of Our Purpose. Strength for Our Future.

I am filled with immense pride and optimism for all that lies ahead this year. Each day I am reminded of the extraordinary commitment, talent, and heart that each of you brings to our chapter. It is your collective strength that fuels our momentum, and it is the reason our committees are working with renewed purpose to make this one of our most impactful years yet.

Our strategic goals are simple but powerful: to elevate our profession, strengthen our relationships, and build a chapter where every member feels valued, connected, and supported.

Valued Partnerships
We extend our sincere gratitude to our luncheon sponsors for their generous support. Thank you to CCMSI for sponsoring our March luncheon and to Terracon for sponsoring our July luncheon. Your partnership helps us deliver valuable programming and meaningful connections for our members. If you or your organization are interested please considering sponsoring an upcoming luncheon or webinar.

Member Engagement and Growth
This year we are deepening our outreach to risk managers and professionals across the region. Your voice, your challenges, and your expertise shape the direction of this chapter, and we are committed to creating a space where your insights guide our path.

Education and Industry Development
We aim to build a stronger and more vibrant pipeline of risk professionals. Our goal is to support every career stage, encourage collaboration, and equip our community to shape the future of our industry with confidence and innovation.

Continuing Positive Momentum
Momentum is powerful, and together we have built something truly meaningful. This year we are focused on nurturing that forward energy. Invite a friend to join us. Bring a colleague to a luncheon. Welcome a new face into the room. When we grow our chapter in connection, purpose, and community, everything else follows naturally.

Finally, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, member, and friend of DFW RIMS. This chapter thrives because of your time, your leadership, and your dedication. None of this is possible without you.

Let us make this year extraordinary together.

With appreciation and excitement,

Catrina Gilbert
